Making trustworthy, and impactful videos about the Holocaust, antisemitism, and the crimes of National Socialism accessible, and strengthen education on these topics.
Thousands of short videos deal with the Holocaust in a fact-based manner: They come from memorial sites, museums, and content creators from around the world. In the first days after their release, at least some of the videos reach the users, but then they disappear from view. To increase the diversity of perspectives and enable even more organizations to use short videos, the Alfred Landecker Foundation supports Shoah Stories. The educational platform created within the project collects the videos like a library and makes them available in one place over the long term. The platform is a safe environment, even for minors, as it only shows videos from well-known partners that are handpicked. Educators can find an expanding range of teaching materials for their lessons on Shoah Stories.
