Mission

The Moishe Postone Legacy Project (MPLP) preserves Moishe Postone’s intellectual legacy and renders his research on antisemitism and National Socialism accessible to the wider public.

Supported by the Alfred Landecker Foundation, this project collects, catalogues, and archives all publications and unpublished writings by Moishe Postone, making them accessible through the University of Chicago archives. Postone was a critical theorist and historian who engaged deeply with Marx, the Frankfurt School, contemporary society, and political economy.

In collaboration with Center for Transcultural Studies (CTS) Expand Expand Collapse Collapse

The MPLP is a collaboration among Postone’s family members, friends and former students, housed at the Centre for Transcultural Studies. The CTS is a research institution dedicated to developing new forms of cultural understanding for a rapidly internationalising world. It fosters innovative thinking on contemporary cultural issues, aiming to create an environment that promotes pluralism and recognises cultural differences.
