Mission

Creating an engaging approach to complex issues such as diversity, tolerance, racism, and antisemitism.

The Kreuzberg Initiative Against Antisemitism (KIgA e. V.) in Berlin, with support from the Alfred Landecker Foundation, has developed two games aimed at raising young people’s awareness of issues such as tolerance, respect, and solidarity, while combating antisemitism and racism: Rätselräume, an escape-room board game, and The Ilios Experiment, a digital adventure game. The games promote an understanding of fundamental rights and sharpen awareness of the dangers to democracy. Both games immerse players in fictional worlds and stories, where they engage with societal questions: What does tolerance mean? Where are its limits? And what role does each individual play?

In collaboration with KIgA e.V., the Kreuzberg Initiative Against Antisemitism Expand Expand Collapse Collapse

For over 20 years, the nationwide initiative has been committed to combating antisemitism, racism, hatred, and intolerance. It develops innovative approaches and projects in political and cultural education to promote a diverse and inclusive society. Beyond this, it advises policymakers, cultural institutions, and the media on issues related to group-based hatered.
